Writer, Motivator, Mominator, Kangaroo?

Joelene Wolfe has been telling stories since she was just a wee one - a mere three years old!  Unfortunately, her mastery of the written word hadn't quite kicked in yet, but she was the star of the show, captivating her audience with her tales.  By audience I mean the family members she bribed to watch her at holiday gatherings. Once she mastered her ABCs, she continued to tap into the power of words to inspire and entertain.  If it got a reaction, she was a happy camper!

Through her writing and acting, she has been striving to make people laugh, feel and be inspired.

Award Winning Film

Mama Drama is an award-winning short film that Joelene co-wrote, produced and acted alongside long-time friend Dina Drew Duva and talented actor/director, Jennifer Weedon Palazzo.

The film takes a funny look at how Social media and technology are sometimes misused in social relationships. It's so much easier to type out a nasty message and hit send than to talk it out.

Mama Drama follows Sam, a suburban mom who gets herself into some trouble with a close group of friends. A small misunderstanding turns into a big blow out and she learns some harsh truths about her friends and herself in the process.

Inspiring Happiness

As a kid Joelene wanted to be 2 things when she grew up: a kangaroo and an actor.

Despite her lofty aspirations of being a marsupial and a starving artist, she reluctantly took the more secure route of business school. She spent 40 years doing what was safe and expected. FINALLY, after life threw her one curveball after another, she took charge of her life, and made a big terrifying leap to follow her own dreams! Through that scary and often very comical experience, she was inspired to help others through writing and Happiness Depends was born.

Joelene has also written for many publications including MomCave, Thrive Global, Prsuit, Sivana East, Her View From Home, The Sanity Plan & more.
